Saint Augustine Camera Club, Inc. (SACC) is a dynamic photography group established in May 2015. With its origins around a dining room table of seven women, the club has expanded to over one hundred members within eight years. The club’s membership includes both professional and amateur photographers ranging from those currently active and retired professionals to newcomers exploring digital photography after past experiences with traditional film. Located in Saint Augustine, Florida, SACC holds regular monthly meetings at Watson Realty's conference room on US 1 South. These gatherings attract about 60 attendees every month, engaging them with a shared enthusiasm for photography. Meetings commence at 6 PM and conclude around 8 PM from January to November, featuring guest speakers who present a 45-minute program supplemented by a question-and-answer session. Following the presentation, club activities include concise briefings on upcoming initiatives led by Vice-President Laryssa Gobets, which also involve reviewing images linked to monthly themes such as 'shiny' or 'reflections.' Participants submit these digital photographs for critique during meetings, while semi-annual print submissions are evaluated twice yearly. In December, attention turns toward the Club's Christmas Banquet and Holiday Card Contest.
