Safety Bears 4 Kids' purpose is to bring hope and comfort to children in crisis by giving them a Safety Bear with a label telling them of God’s love and our daily prayer for them. Our Mission... Safety Bears 4 Kids is a faith-based compassion mission making a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children in Hillsborough County, Florida by the gift of a handmade teddy bear. Safety Bears will be a welcomed companion, a tool to build or regain trust and help the child gain a sense of security. Safety Bears 4 Kids will connect, attract, and inspire people to become involved on every level developing a movement that makes a difference in the lives of children. Safety Bears 4 Kids be fully funded and develop a legacy of small things done in love demonstrating God’s love and faithfulness. Safety Bears 4 Kids will encourage, honor and respect the men and women who protect and serve children in crisis. Heavenly Father, we ask that You bless Safety Bears as ambassadors of Your love and ask You to fill them with everything a child needs at the moment they are received. We ask You to use Safety Bears to help children experience a breakthrough from fear to comfort and from despair to hope. May Safety Bears bring children a sense of friendship and security. We call them Safety Bears, but we know that You are the One who brings safety and protection. We ask You toallow the children to sense Your presence with Safety Bears. Heavenly Father, we also pray for the therapists, investigators, medical personnel, law-enforcement officers and anyone who will distribute Safety Bears. They may not know our purpose for Safety Bears, but we ask that when they see the label “God loves me,” may they respond with favor. Give them the freedom to acknowledge You and Your love for the children. Inspire them with creative ways to pass Safety Bears along to the children. In Jesus’ Name.
