I was headed to South America and was intrigued and then booked. I was on a path of self growth and acceptance and the YTT I did helped a lot in that journey. Part of the reason I went was also to establish a habit of Yoga training. All my expectations were met, I mean 'expectations' of which I have less and less of these days, but certainly I grew and did that in a loving environment. I made many friends and experienced Ayahuasca and Wachuma which was very enlightening and adventurous. Darin is a cool guy and Megan was exceptionally dedicated and knowledgeable. I end up teaching a little in a hostel at Huanchaco beach and that actually earnt me enough money to pay for my stay. What I wanted to achieve is more confidence and dedication in my own Yoga a deepening of my own practice and that happened. A teacher where I am now wants me to work with her and teach more Yoga. Yoga Alliance provides a set of educational standards for yoga schools that specify hours of study in certain Educational Categories, to ensure schools provide adequate training to yoga teachers, enabling them to teach safely and competently. We are a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance and upon completion of the training you will receive your yoga teacher certification which grants you the opportunity to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered yoga Teacher (RYT). You can publish your online profile in the Yoga Alliance Directory and teach anywhere in the world. Sacred Paths Yoga offers Scholarship Exchanges for our 200hr Yoga Teacher Trainings. Eligible students can receive up to 25% off of their Yoga Teacher Training Tuition by applying and supporting our global community. We link breath and movement to emphasize meditation and to find stillness in motion. This practice become a sacred prayer to our body, to access the stillness of the mind and to connect with spirit. The experience is deeply intentional as we honor yogic philosophy and invite our soul to look inward and find peace with what is present. Yes. Sacred Paths Yoga is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour and 300-hour Level as well as a Continuing Education Provider (YA-CEP). Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate from Sacred Paths Yoga and will be able to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). Yoga Alliance® is the largest internationally recognized registering body for yoga teachers, studios and schools and is the largest nonprofit association representing the yoga community. Yoga Alliance provides a set of educational standards for yoga schools that specify hours of study in certain Educational Categories, to ensure schools provide thorough training to yoga teachers that will enable them to teach safely and competently.
