I believe more can be done to help our residents and families in our District where establishment politicians have failed to deliver. Our campaign is dedicated to the issues that will help all constituents including increasing public safety and attacking the opioid epidemic, removing outdated and costly regulations, protecting vulnerable children and improving our education system.” Ryan’s priority will be to tackle this issue head-on, bolstering resources and coordination in three main areas: awareness, enforcement, and treatment. Ryan will utilize his background and experience in public service to help solve this issue shoulder to shoulder with our community and across Indiana. “My priorities are to move quickly to attack the opioid and meth epidemic, focusing resources to promote awareness, increase enforcement, and incorporate evidence-based treatment. Too many lives and livelihoods have been lost to this plague, and we need to find new ways to help be more effective in our local communities.” Ryan will propose legislation to stop the automatic tax increase, up to 3.5% per year, baked into the gas tax legislation passed last year and focus on making sure your tax dollars are spent wisely and for their intended purpose.
