RWI Logistics is a non-asset based logistics provider that is part of the Castellini Group of Companies, headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. The Castellini Company was founded in 1896 on the original Cincinnati produce terminal market and has grown to be one of the largest distributors of fresh produce in the United States. As the Castellini Company grew they began to acquire additional companies to support and grow their business. In 1974 Castellini purchased Riley Whittle, Inc, a trucking company that had been operating since 1954. RWI Transportation grew by using its own fleet and outside carriers to meet and exceed our customers' service expectations. To be able to focus on the growing demand of non-asset based logistics services the strategic decision was made to separate RWI Logistics from RWI Transportation in 2013. mission RWI Logistics is a member of the Castellini Group of Companies. With our expertise, capacity, technology and infrastructure we solve even the toughest supply chain challenges, creating competitive advantage for you. run our business David grew up in the northeastern part of the United States (NJ & PA) and his career has afforded him the opportunity to live in places such as Atlanta, Cleveland, Chicago, and now Cincinnati. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Supply Chain & Information Systems and International business and also holds an Executive Development program certification from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School of Business. David joined RWI Logistics in January 2017 and is passionate about using his supply chain and logistics experience to help our team grow and develop. He has held roles at various third party logistics companies such as UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Echo Global Logistics, DSC Logistics, Transfreight, and Penske Logistics. At these companies he has developed expertise spanning across business growth, strategy development, P&L management, analytics, solution development, engineering and leading successful teams. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, golfing, exercising, and cheering on any Penn State sports team. David volunteers his time coaching his children and is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. Jade grew up in Middletown, OH and graduated from the University of the Cumberlands with a degree in accounting. After college Jade worked as a Staff Accountant in the healthcare field and then for the Castellini Company. After 6 years, she was promoted to Controller of RWI Transportation and RWI Logistics. When the two companies split Jade stayed with RWI Logistics. Jade and her team are responsible for all of RWI Logistics’ accounting and finance functions, working to ensure our carriers get paid and our customers invoiced timely and correctly. In her free time Jade enjoys traveling, running, shopping and reading. Born in Gainesville, FL Wei grew up in Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in business. He has worked in the logistics industry for 11 years and prior to that ran his own business. Wei started with RWI Logistics in Florida has worked in Procurement and Pricing for RWI Logistics prior to taking on the role of Director of Operations. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, running, DIY projects and camping. He is also an avid University of Florida fan. joined RWI Logistics in March 2017 and is passionate about using her human resource and leadership experience to help our team grow and develop. She spent 8 years active duty as an Army Aviation Officer and Blackhawk pilot, with two tours overseas in support of OIF. She held roles at Target (distribution) and Aramark (Uniform Services) where she developed expertise spanning across talent development, training initiatives, strategic planning, compensation, engagement, and leading successful teams. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring local events and supporting small business, trying new restaurants and breweries, and cheering on the Army Black Knights, BEAT NAVY! Sara grew up in northeast Ohio and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Ohio University. She has been in the logistics industry for nearly two decades, with a focus on third-party logistics solutions. Her roles have included operations, implementation, project management, marketing and sales leadership. Sara joined the RWI Logistics team in November 2017, and is passionate about providing solutions to clients and growing a successful and energetic sales force. Outside of work, Sara enjoys family time with her husband and two children. RWI Logistics is a third-party logistics partner that serves all our customer’s logistics needs, moving what’s important to them with quality care and customized solutions they can count on.
