Ricky Cooper started working as a laborer for a masonry company while still in high school. Seeing his potential for the trade, the owner of the company allowed him to work as an apprentice laying blocks and bricks. In 1980, he opened Cooper’s Masonry and worked in the St. Johns County area for many general contractors providing them with any and all aspects of masonry construction. Eighteen years later, in 1998, a lifelong dream became a reality when he started R.V. Cooper Construction as a state certified building contractor. Since that time, he has completed over one hundred building projects. Most of these have been custom homes built in the St. Johns County and Putnam County areas. The team at R.V.
