As a professional and touring drummer, one of Richard’s specialties is recording drums. As an experienced audio engineer, he has an arsenal of professional recording equipment, from high-end A to D converters to class A tube mic pre’s. Richard is also a resident at Studio Center Miami, one of the premier professional recording studios in South Florida. From banging on pots in the street to getting his first drum set at age 6, Richard was practically born with the beat. After cutting two albums in professional studios in Baton Rouge and Los Angeles, and touring across the country with his bands Section 8 and Kinetic Output, Richard decided to focus on the engineering that goes into making albums sound amazing. He completed courses at SAE Miami, a world-class audio engineering school, and immediately went to work at Studio Center Miami where he received hands-on training from some of the most experienced studio engineers in the country.
