About Royal Palm Press When you think of Florida, you typically think of sun, sand, and surf. However, we thought Florida would be a great place to establish an on-demand book manufacturing and printing company. So, in 1997, we built Royal Palm Press to fill the publishing industry’s need for short-run, on-demand book manufacturing. Publishers to lower their press runs quite a bit from minimums of 1,000-2,000 units. In the past, large quantities of books would have had to be warehoused, which left them with extra books that they couldn’t sell. Now with new digital printing the publishers can print as few as 10-20 copies to satisfy the customers’ needs. This was the birth of the POD or print-on-demand market. Whether it’s a pre-publication galley, a title with a very limited audience, or an older title that has gone out of print with a limited demand. Royal Palm Press has continually kept pace...
