Ron’s Window Coverings started in the summer of 1977 installing for Sears, Mass Brothers, Cox Furniture Company, Imperial Furniture, House of Interiors, Lowry Furniture Company, Personal Interiors, Archie McCormick Interiors. Ron Molyneux graduated with a B.S. and M.S. degree in industrial arts education and certified to teach design construction. His son, Cory Molyneux, started working in the business in 1987. Ron’s Window Coverings is the oldest continuing blind business in the Gainesville, Florida area and the longest business in the history of Alachua County. The business is based on quality blinds and shades at affordable prices because of low overhead with service being the primary objective. Word-of-mouth with quality products and service has proved to be a business model that has made Ron's Window Coverings the largest Hunter Douglas dealer in North Central Florida for the past 20 years. The chosen products were motorized woven woods by Hunter Douglas, Solid Bass Wood Shutters, and a variety of custom Draperies. Florida Contract Automated Shading (FCAS), is a sister company of Ron's Window Coverings Inc. FCAS specializes in motorizing, fabrication and installing a variety of interior window coverings.
