Welcome to Rock Star Status Kids  Hi!  Thanks for stopping by our website!  Rock Star Status Kids is a non profit sensory gym here in Okeechobee, Florida!  RSSK began with a simple idea, because we wanted a safe place for our kids to play.  Our family lives on the autism spectrum, so randomly going to the park isn't always an option.  We needed a place that understood meltdowns, social anxiety, stimming and over stimulation to noises and lights.   We couldn't find that place, so we built it!  Now we want to welcome you to stop by!  Your child doesn't have to be a special needs child to play.  All children are welcome here!  Our goal is to give your family the same safe place we wanted for our family!   Our Mission Making a Rock Star... After several attempts doing "normal" things that resulted in tears for the whole family, we knew we needed something special.  We needed a place that was comfortable.  We needed a place that we could trust and visit often.  A place where our kids could run, jump, stim, play and be a Rock Star!  After many months of getting everything just right, we are open! Please join us! We have a ball pit, barrel rolls, doll houses, dinosaurs, trains, art supplies, puzzles, trucks, kitchen toys, mirrors and more! We also have a quiet room for kids who become overwhelmed.  We ask that you supervise your child and make sure they are playing safely at all times.    All we are missing is you!  We are located in Cedar Plaza. We are now a Melissa & Doug retailer! We have an entire store front full of affordable and educational toys! We will offer the lowest price on Melissa & Doug toys in Okeechobee!
