In 2003, Jim moved to Florida to join a small legal technology company as Vice-President, Professional Services and Tech Support. From 2005-2009, Jim shifted his transactional expertise from technology to managing real estate transactions as Director of Closings for a general contractor, Acquisitions Project Manager for an apartment management company, and Executive Consultant for a timeshare company. Jim completed the shift to traditional legal work in 2010 when he joined Roberts Law Group, PA overseeing their timeshare group. His group helps consumers with their timeshare ownership and advises secondary market companies on regulatory compliance, contracting, and title/closing related issues. In 2014, Jim purchased the firm and renamed it Robertson Law Associates. He is admitted to practice law in Arizona, Florida, and South Carolina. Jim has volunteered throughout his career serving as President of a homeowners association, as secretary/treasurer for the Orlando Stake responsible for 9 congregations in central Florida, and currently serves as a Scout District Commissioner.
