Founded in 1993 by Josef Valchář and ProLux's sales manager, ROBE Lighting s.r.o., originally called Robe Show Lighting, emerged from their collaboration with sound-activated lighting effects as the main focus under the ProLux brand. Their first major milestone occurred at a Frankfurt exhibition where they attracted Steinigke Showtechnic GmbH as their first customer for OEM products like scanners and innovative sound-responsive fixtures. ROBE's ingenuity shone through with the launch of the Dominator, which brought in cutting-edge servo motor technology, making all their offerings DMX controllable. The company has since stretched its wings across over 50 countries via strategic partnerships, such as Coemar’s TAS brand venture. A significant leap came at PLASA 2002 when they introduced their AT Series, setting the stage for subsequent flagship products. ROBE has a track record of continuous innovation with creations like the Anolis architectural LED line and pioneering the plasma lamp technology in the ROBIN range. Headquartered in Davie, Florida, the company's operations are coordinated by Lorienn Cochenour and CFO Dawn Adams from their 3410 Davie Road address.
