Continuing education for psychologists has been approved through the Florida Psychological Association (FPA) for 14 hours CE for the January 2018 and the August 2018 training. Approval is for 11 hours of general continuing education credits, 2 hours of professional ethics and Florida laws and rules, and 1 hour of domestic violence. There is an additional $25.00 fee for CE for non-FPA members. FPA is approved by the Florida Department of Health, Board of Psychology and Board of School Psychology to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Florida Psychological Association is approved by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling as a provider of continuing education. The Florida Psychological Association maintains responsibility for the program and its content. Each training is approved separately so potential registrants should confirm approval for future classes if continuing education credit is needed.
