Tim and Shari Powell purchased River Haven Marina and Motel in 1998. Wanting to leave the Northern Virginia traffic and the large population, they found the little town of Steinhatchee. It’s laid-back lifestyle immediately appealed to them. Having been members of the boating community for years, buying a marina only felt natural and right. Since 1998, with the help of a motivated and efficient staff, Tim and Shari have continued to add to the customer base where everyone feels like family. As needs grew, Tim and Shari were able to purchase more properties to keep up with customer needs. Located across the street from the marina is the River Haven Motel. Relax only few steps away from the water and the ship store and enjoy the onsite accommodations provided. Relax under our covered pavilion while you use the gas grill to grill your catch or serve up a juicy burger. All our rooms and rental houses are non-smoking. Steinhatchee is a great place to relax and unwind! We can help you do just that! River Haven Marina and Motel offers full marina services, including dockage, boat lift, marine repair, boat and kayak rentals (Steinhatchee Falls to the marina is a great paddle!), bicycle and golf cart rentals.
