Ritchie Marketing came about with the merger of two brokerages: Great Lakes Meat & Deli and Ritchie & Associates. Great Lakes Meat & Deli was an eleven year-old food brokerage while Ritchie & Associates was a twenty-three year-old disposables brokerage. On January 1, 2003, the ownership merged the two organizations together to provide both the vendor and distributor community a diversified and aggressive sales organization to sell their product lines to the marketplace. On March 1, 2010 RMI acquired The Halling Co of Detroit, MI. The Halling Company specialized in the seafood industry and enhanced our already strong relationships with distributors throughout the Detroit market.
