As a professional liability specialist, Michael’s expertise is in providing our clients with top-of-the-line coverage and loss prevention materials so that they not only feel secure with the insurance they have purchased but also understand how to limit their risks as a business and protect themselves from claims. Since 1997, Michael has created strong, semi-exclusive partnerships with some of the best professional liability and cyber liability insurance companies, which helps him continue to provide such great assistance to our clients year over year. Prior to becoming a professional liability specialist, Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tampa, with a double major in Accounting and Management Information Systems. Michael also spent over five years as the administrator of a mid-sized law firm and over five years as a certified public accountant, most of that with the CPA firm Deloitte & Touche. Michael remains licensed as a CPA and serves on the FICPA Board of Governors, but does not serve the public any longer. Michael has been married to Denise for over 26 years. They have three children, Kelsey, Rebecca and Chase who continue to keep them on their toes. Michael loves to get outdoors when he steps away from the office, which includes a new found hobby creating pallet wood projects…that Denise most likely found on Pinterest. Michael also volunteers, serving as the Treasurer for Grace Lutheran Church for the last 8 years and has been a member of the Northeast Exchange Club, Rockin’ Ribs and Helping Kids, since 2002. With more than 35 years of experience working in professional liability insurance, Blair provides a level of knowledge that has played an invaluable role in helping RAM become successful. As Michael’s partner and mentor, his understanding of the strengths and diversities of each insurance company helps RAM provide clients with the best possible coverage options. Blair owns another unrelated insurance agency, Coastal Insurors, Inc., which focuses on professional liability and cyber liability coverage for law firms. Blair and Michael work together so that they don’t step on each other’s toes as well as leverage both agencies when it comes to working with the insurance carriers. Before working as a professional liability specialist, Blair received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Bob Jones University. Julie joined our team in 2014 with prior experience in customer service. She’s a dedicated hard worker who reviews client policies for accuracy, handles other policy-related tasks, and serves our agency’s bookkeeper. Julie is passionate about helping others and always puts the needs of clients first. Though she works part-time, Michael and Joy often have to kick her out the door so she can pick up her kids on time.
