Right Trailers Inc. offers essential answers to frequently asked questions about our products and services pertaining to our business. We hope you find them helpful and informative. Should you have any further questions, please consult our contact page.
Although used trailers can be a good deal at times, you want to make sure that the trailer that you are purchasing is one that will be a dependable and safe unit. New trailers offer a full warranty for up to five years on select models. This coverage coupled with the expert knowledge of the Right Trailers staff will give you the peace of mind you deserve when purchasing a new trailer.
The differences are definitely more than just price and price. The overall quality of the trailer, the material used to construct the trailer, how the trailer is trimmed, tire selection on the trailer, and the types of axle are some of the differences. Come in or give us a call and one of our knowledgeable staff members can help you choose which trailer is best suited for your needs.
The answer to this question is dependent upon what size trailer you are looking to purchase. Most open utility type trailers weigh between 500lbs and 1,500lbs, while enclosed trailers weigh between 1,000lbs and 12,000lbs. Give us a call and one of our friendly sales staff can provide you with a more accurate trailer weight for your particular application.
If you have purchased or are going to purchase your trailer from Right Trailers, you only need to check the tightness of the lug nuts and the air pressure in the tires after the first 50 miles. At Right Trailers, every trailer receives a thorough walk-thru by one or more of our certified service technicians. During this walk-thru, the service technician fills the wheel bearings with the proper amount of high speed wheel bearing grease; inflates the tires to the proper pressure determined by the tire manufacture; checks all running lights, turn signals, and stop lights; washes the exterior of the trailer with a high quality “wash-n-wax” soap; and checks the lug nuts to ensure that they have been tightened to the correct torque specification set by the manufacture. If you did not purchase your trailer through Right Trailers, check with the dealer that you purchased the trailer from, as the level of dealer preparation varies.
