RidgePoint Church - 100 Hatfield Rd  Winter Haven, FL 33880 In the early 2000's, the leaders of First Baptist Church Jan Phyl Village began a discussion of building a different style of church in Polk County, FL. Over the next few years, those dreams became a reality as the church transitioned to RidgePoint Church in 2005. The vision hadn't changed much. Our goal was and is "to lead all people in a growing relationship with Jesus." However, the implementation of that vision was going to be radically different. We now had as our stated goal that RPC's mission was to be " a church unchurched people love to attend." Through the years, the church has become a place of healing and recovery for many that were desperately in need of Jesus. Because we refuse to judge people by their lowest moments, we are able to reach people who might never otherwise have considered church. And it's also been a place of refuge for people who all have given up on church. Today, that mission continues. Every day, we work hard at reaching people from all walks of life with the incredible love of Jesus. Because, when it's all said and done, our mission is people.
