Satellite office – Seguin, Texas. A satellite office in Seguin, Texas features a rock display visible from Interstate 10, exit 609, between San Antonio and Houston. We ship to central states from this office and have some displays and a full product inventory although orders are processed at the Orlando office. RicoRock® was a division of Rock Formations Inc. until 2003. The Rock Formations name is now used by companies in CA, TX, FL, MN, LA and SC but all are separate companies and not a part of RicoRock® Inc. Product can be picked up at any company office and we ship by truck every weekday, usually palletized product sent to a truck terminal or distributor; residential delivery with lift gate is sometimes available at extra charge. From time to time we have a one day clinic focusing on techniques used for the Modular Product line. RicoRock® Accessory Products Include: RicoRock® Waterproofing RicoRock® Waterproofing, used for waterline applications of coping/waterline or notched boulders and also to waterproof the water course for custom waterfalls. Also used to repair damaged rock areas; it has a bonding agent and dries the same color as our castings and can be colored with our stains. RicoRock® Acrylic Stain RicoRock® Acrylic Stain, used to color our cast rock and also used on stamped concrete and overlays to tie the color scheme of a project together. Deck O Shield sealer is recommended for hand sculptured areas to minimize calcium deposits and is effective to protect coping during concrete pours and to help with freeze thaw issues. Rainbow Cement is available for finish mortar that will dry the same color as our castings, making the coloring of custom jobs much easier. Artificial rock has been around for at least 150 years and RicoRock® ’s roots go back over 30 years. RicoRock® started as a division of Rock Formations Inc., a company based in Orange County, California that specialized in artificial rock construction starting in 1979. Rock Formations Inc. pioneered many of the techniques and styles used to bring manmade rock into the residential swimming pool industry. We were recognized with numerous design awards from the National Pool Spa Institute, now the APSP, and were featured in several trade magazines and major newspapers.Rock Formations Inc. created a unique style of lagoon pool and built over 1,000 installations in a 25 year period. We occasionally provide project management for special projects but now we mostly supply product to a whole new generation of rock makers. RicoRock® Beginnings In 1999 we realized there was a huge demand for affordable pool rock features but we were building the same designs again and again as custom work that only affluent homeowners could afford and only highly skilled rock artisans could build. RicoRock® was simply a plan to create standard, affordable methods of rock construction. RicoRock® Inc. became an independent company in 2003. Since then we have successfully trained dozens of companies in the art of custom rock making and with the revolutionary simplicity of the Modular Waterfall system we now sell standard design product to hundreds of swimming pool related companies. RicoRock® Tech Support installs projects as prototypes, for training purposes or if a project is too complex for our dealers. RicoRock® has been featured on several home improvement TV programs and we are a member of the APSP and Florida Pool Association. About RicoRock®: Dealers RicoRock® dealers are a diverse group of independent contractors who also contract for masonry, tile, concrete, landscaping, pond, plumbing or pool services. Some pool companies install RicoRock® with their own crews on gunite, vinyl liner and fiberglass pools. Most of our regular dealers have attended a RicoRock® seminar to better understand the recommended installation techniques but many installers have followed the simple installation diagrams and have successfully install Modular Products without training. In some cases homeowners have installed product themselves when there was not a local dealer or the project was too small to be of interest. Our Preferred Dealers have the most experience with our product and we approve of their workmanship but all dealers are independent contractors, none are acting as agents of RicoRock® Inc. Custom projects require considerable more skill than Modular products and we cannot verify the skill level of everyone who buys our product. We can verify if a dealer has successfully installed our product.
