Rick's Ranchwear opened for business on May, 20 1978 in Youngstown, Ohio. At only 23 years of age, Rick Blase, our owner and President, took a leap of faith and opened the store with only 72 pair of boots and 500 empty boxes so as to make it look like he had more inventory. As time went on he expanded his boot inventory. Every customer who entered his store received the ultimate experience through an unbelievable selection of boots, friendly, helpful staff and outstanding customer service with an unbelievable offer. By the way, Rick no longer stocks empty boxes and his philosophy has not changed, the customer still remains first and foremost.
