Richard Ham Construction opened for business on July 22, 1981 in St. Petersburg, FL. The firm is licensed for residential and commercial contracting work, with special expertise in high quality remodeling, additions and custom homes. Richard Ham Construction is one of the most seasoned remodeling and homebuilding firms in the area having been in business longer then almost all of it’s competitors. They attribute their longevity and success to their absolute commitment to producing a quality product with integrity, honesty, and unequaled customer service. Richard Ham is the president, owner and license holder for Richard Ham Construction, Inc. Richard moved to the area in 1974 to attend Eckerd College. While in college, to save living expenses, he decided to buy an old house in Gulfport, to live in and remodel. With floors that rolled like waves and a roof with so many holes the sky was clearly visible from within, the house was definitely in need of some TLC. Over the next five years Richard painstakingly remodeled, repaired and restored the house to it’s original condition. During that project he found that he had a talent and a love for the remodeling and construction trade. After working for other contractors for a number of years, Richard decided to start his own company and Richard Ham Construction was born. With over 30 years experience in the business and having done everything from swinging a hammer to pounding the keyboard, Richard is uniquely qualified to help bring your dreams to life. Richard Ham Construction, Inc. specializes in very high quality additions, remodeling and custom homes throughout St. Petersburg, South Tampa, and the Pinellas beaches. We opened our doors for business in St. Petersburg in 1981 with the goal of providing the highest quality product and service available. We’ve accomplished this goal by attracting and training a skilled team of craftsmen and providing them with the experience and knowledge gained from many years and hundreds of successful projects. All Richard Ham Construction projects are assigned a Supervisor from the initial survey to project completion. This allows us to properly manage and supervise your project down to the smallest detail. On-site personnel carry cell phones to facilitate critical coordination and communication. In addition, the Contractor makes frequent site visits and is available by phone, cell phone, fax and email to answer any of your questions.
