Rhoads Design Studio, LLC (RDS) was founded by Ryan Rhoads who has been a professional Industrial Designer since 1998. Ryan earned a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.  His early years as a designer were formed at the Barnstone Studios in Coply, PA. He has experience working in both large corporate environments, such as Sea Ray Boats (Brunswick) and Silverton Marine, as well as a number of phenomenal, award-winning consulting firms. His career as a Designer has enabled him to work on a range of projects ranging from Yacht Design, Furniture Design, Signage, Product Design, Military and much more.  Ryan has also taught Drawing & Design classes at both CMU and Georgia Tech.  His skill sets lie in sketching, visualization, concept development, brand identity, 3D modelling and ergonomics. Ryan is a collaborator and has a unique way of bringing people together- a critical skill in today's business world- yet at the heart of all he does is a determination for excellence through design.  RDS, therefore, can bring whatever skills necessary to accomplish the task.  RDS creates real value in every product we design. We develop aesthetic solutions that serve to celebrate the broader purposes of functionality, manufacturability, and most importantly usability.
