Under the leadership of our first General Overseer, A. J. Tomlinson, the Church of God adopted a centralized form of Church government with an inclusive International General Assembly (1906), launched a world evangelization effort beginning in the Bahamas (1909), inaugurated the Church of God Evangel (1910), and established educational opportunities for ministers and members (1918). Today Church of God ministries include more than 7 million members in 178 nations and territories. Some 36,000 congregations serve around the world, while regional and international ministries provide resources and support through our divisions of World Evangelization, Care, Discipleship, Education, and Support Services. Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement. Bishop Lee T McCloud, Jr. is our Senior Pastor is and Ordained Bishop in the Church of God, Hdqtrs in Clev, TN. He serves the congregation with 26 years of Pastoral experience. Several of his goals are: reaching the community outside the church walls, helping struggling people go from where they are to where they need to be; helping them do more by becoming more and reaching the harvest for the glory of God. Because time is so short, he is looking for "Willing Workers" to help reap the harvest for Jesus right now! Remember, Jesus said in John 4:35, "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields: for they are whiote already to harvest" The primary purpose of all activity at Restoration Church of God is that every person will be built up and strengthened in their faith through worship, preaching, teaching, discipleship, evangelism, prayer, and Bible study. Strengthening the bond of family is key in promoting healthy relationships. Restoration Church of God has family-oriented programs for men, women, children, and couples that focus on their distinct and specific needs. The Bible clearly teaches that we were not created for fellowship with God alone, but also for fellowship with one another. Restoration Church of God creates opportunities for godly fellowship inside and outside of the church walls.
