REPUBLIC AIRLINE INC.
We are more than 5,500 professionals for whom flight – and the business of flying – are equal parts art and science. Republic Airline, based in Indianapolis, Ind., operates a fleet of nearly 190 Embraer 170/175 aircraft and offers scheduled passenger service with approximately 950 daily flights to 100 cities in 38 U.S. states, Canada, the Caribbean and Central America. The airline provides fixed-fee flights operated under our major airline partner brands of American Eagle, Delta Connection and United Express. Our business strategy was developed by an experienced team of senior airline executives and incorporates sound business strategies and insights for the development and management of airlines operating throughout the United States. Our Vision, Mission, Guiding Principles and Culture Statement guide each decision we make and each flight we operate. Safety at Republic Airline is more than a goal or a metric that is benchmarked. Safety, as a value, is the most important part of our Company’s legacy. Through our 40-plus-year history, Republic has put safety at the forefront of our operating philosophy, and it continues to be a fundamental part of our mission statement today. Republic Airline played a founding role in the development of a Regional Shared Audit Program. Through this program, all regional carriers flying as Delta Connection or United Express have partnered to create one all-encompassing checklist and schedule that is used to audit every United and Delta station that has regional flying. This new audit creates a full view of how a station is complying with federal regulations and company policies and procedures in a way that has never been done before. By partnering in this program we are enhancing our oversight of stations we operate to and from while reducing our workload (and lowering our costs). The internal evaluation program is designed to evaluate departmental procedures to ensure our company is following polices and federal regulations. The Company and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters collaborate together to identify fatigue hazards, and implement corrective measure to improve system safety. The Hazmat / Dangerous Goods program at Republic Airline ensures that Company is storing, handling, and transporting dangerous goods in a safe manner in accordance with 14 and 49 CFR, and ICAO Dangerous Goods Regulations. Environmental is tasked with ensuring compliance with all Waste/Air/Water Regulations associated with the Air Transportation Business Sector. Working with the NTSB’s Transportation Disaster Assistance (TDA), codeshare partners, and vendors, the Company ensures they are prepared for the worst case scenario. Through training, drills, and meetings, processes are developed to manage a crisis situation. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is an agency of the US government with the responsibility of ensuring safety at work and a healthful work environment. OSHA’s mission is to prevent work-related injuries, illnesses and deaths. We provide a career path where performance is rewarded. Vision, Mission & Culture With the BEST People, Products and Performance we will be America’s regional airline of choice. Mission Together we provide a safe, clean and reliable flying experience. We believe that every associate, regardless of personal beliefs or worldview, has been created in the image and likeness of God. We seek to become stronger from our diversity.
