As CEO, Roy A. Guthrie brings almost 40 years of experience in the consumer financial services industry to the leadership of Renovate America. Roy is the Chairman of the executive committee of Renovate America’s Board of Directors and also serves on the boards of several companies, including Synchrony Financial, Nationstar Mortgage Holdings, Inc., and OneMain Holdings, Inc. He previously served as chairman of the board of LifeLock prior to its sale, and as a board member of Discover Bank. At Discover Financial Services, Inc., Roy served as CFO and EVP from 2005 through 2011. Prior, he served as President and CEO of various businesses of Citigroup Inc., including CitiFinancial International and CitiCapital. He also served in various roles of increasing responsibility at Associates First Capital Corporation. Roy earned a B.A. in Economics from Hanover College and an M.B.A. from Drake University.
Adam brings over 30 years of experience in financial services, with specific expertise in structured products investment banking, sales & trading and M&A advisory. Adam joined Renovate America in 2015 as Head of Capital Markets, leading a team tasked with capital raising, liquidity management, risk management, and managing relationships with investors, rating agencies and banks. For 13 years, he was Head of the Asset Backed & Mortgage Backed Structured Finance Group at Bank of America Securities where he managed a team of more than 125 professionals. Adam leads with humility, humor and a deep personal investment in coaching his team towards achieving their personal and professional goals. Adam graduated from the University of Florida with B.A. degrees in Political Science and Economics.
As Chief Legal Officer, Scott is responsible for Renovate America's legal and regulatory affairs. He oversees all company contracts and compliance protocols, including Renovate America’s industry-leading system for managing contractor quality, as well as the People & Culture team. Prior to joining Renovate America, Scott worked for a number of lenders including E-Loan and First Nationwide Bank, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary. Most recently, Scott was Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Springleaf (NYSE:LEAF), a national lender that provides approximately $2 billion in personal loans to homeowners each year. Scott has also served as COO of a biotechnology company and an attorney with two well respected law firms. He earned a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and his law degree from the University of San Francisco.
As EVP of Business and Client Development, Greg structures all strategic partnerships, oversees a team that manages corporate relationships across the country and partnerships with contractors to help them grow their businesses. Prior to joining Renovate America, he was the CEO of Greenwave Systems, which developed an industry-leading energy management software platform for Global Service Providers and Utilities. Previous to Greenwave, Greg held the position of VP/General Manager for Cisco's Consumer Business Organization, SVP of Products/Marketing for Gateway/eMachines, President/COO of Alta Vista, VP/GM of Consumer Notebook Products at Compaq, along with senior product positions at Apple. Greg has a B.S. degree from Arizona State University and an M.B.A. from San Jose State University.
As SVP of Capital Markets, Craig is responsible for the team that develops and executes on the company’s capital markets-facing activities. This includes short- and long-term funding facilities, investor, bank and rating agency relationships and interest rate hedging for the HERO and Benji products that the company originates. In addition, Craig manages the funding team that works seamlessly with customers to provide financing once projects are completed. Prior to Renovate America, Craig was a Managing Director at GE Capital for 13 years, with global responsibility for securitization, alternative funding and business development opportunities for a broad range of internal clients. Prior to GE Capital, Craig spent 10 years as an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and RBS Greenwich Capital. Craig holds an M.B.A.,

Michael is the SVP of Risk and Compliance and is responsible for enterprise risk, corporate compliance, information security and contractor channel risk management functions, including the Contractor Quality Rating system. Michael leads by empowering his team to challenge the status quo, seeking customer-oriented knowledge in every facet of their roles. He joined Renovate America in November 2016 and brings 25 years of consumer finance and banking experience to the team. He has held senior leadership positions with PNC Bank, HSBC Bank and Household International in the US, Canada and the UK with roles in operational risk, marketing, product development, operations, and sales. Michael holds a B.S. degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
As SVP of People and Culture for Renovate America, Tameka is responsible for culture, talent development and acquisition, employee relations, total rewards and payroll. She joined Renovate America in February 2016 from Niagara Bottling, a leading US bottled water manufacturer, where she served as the Senior Leader of Human Resources and Learning Development since 2011 and was credited for the vision of their culture and development platform, Niagara LIFE. Ms. Reese also held senior roles in Human Resources at Beckman Coulter (a Danaher Company) for the Global Chemistry, Instrument Systems, Rapid Particle Characterization, and ACC Capital Holdings. She holds an M.B.A. and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources Management.
