FMCNA acquires dialysis provider Liberty Dialysis Holdings, renowned for its home dialysis programs and efficient hemodialysis health care model. FMCNA acquires dialysis provider Renal Care Group and subsequently incorporates the Medical Advisory Board structure within the FMCNA Medical Office. Fresenius USA, Inc. and National Medical Care’s North American dialysis businesses merge, forming Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA), becoming the continent’s leading dialysis provider and renal products manufacturer. Fresenius Medical Care North America is a division of Fresenius Medical Care (NYSE: FMS), the world's largest integrated provider of products and services for individuals undergoing dialysis because of chronic kidney failure, a condition that affects more than 2.1 million individuals worldwide. Bill also previously served as President of FMCNA’s Integrated Renal Services where he led the transformation of the organization’s vital business functions into a high-performance renal network that can improve the outcomes and reduce the costs of managing renal disease. These include Fresenius Vascular Care, FreseniusRx, Spectra Laboratories, FKC Business Development, FKC Inpatient Services and FKC Real Estate and Construction Services. Before joining FMCNA, Bill had 22 years of experience in the dialysis industry, serving in executive roles in sales, marketing and business development and as owner of several private dialysis centers. Ron Rodgers was named Executive Vice President of Fresenius Medical Care North America and President, Fresenius Kidney Care in January 2017. Previously, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Fresenius Kidney Care, West Division and Fresenius Vascular Care. Ron joined Fresenius Vascular Care in 2010 when Fresenius Medical Care acquired National Vascular Care, the company he co-founded. Mark Costanzo was named as President of Fresenius Medical Care North America’s Renal Therapies Group in January, 2010. He oversees renal products and pharmaceutical operations including sales, marketing, the Renal Research Institute, medical & regulatory affairs, as well as Mexico and Canada operations. Mark joined Fresenius Medical Care in 1990 and has held several positions of increasing responsibility including Vice President, Peritoneal Dialysis Products, and Vice President, Sales & Marketing. William has held senior leadership roles at WellCare Health Plans and TeleTech Holdings and also has consulted for McKinsey & Company. He holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. Frank joined the organization in 2009 after Fresenius Medical Care acquired a company he founded, Health IT Services Group, a leading-edge Electronic Health Record (EHR) software company. He additionally founded Specialty Care, a leading provider of perfusion and surgical support services. Peter E. Gladitsch is Chief Financial Officer of Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA). He joined FMCNA from UnitedHealth Group (UHG), where he most recently served as CFO of Optum Complex Care Management, a national provider organization serving the needs of Medicare special needs plans and Medicare-Medicaid dual demonstrations focused on members in skilled nursing facilities. Prior to that role, Peter served as CFO for UHG’s Northeast Region of Community & State, a Medicaid managed care organization. He has also held senior financial roles at Health Net of the Northeast and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, among other companies. Peter’s record of achievement in the health care industry features a diverse background in both payor and provider organizations, including specific experience in those that manage health care services for special needs populations. Peter is a CPA and holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from New York University and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from St. John’s University. Brian Silva is Fresenius Medical Care North America’s (FMCNA) Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President, Administration. His role is focused on delivering solutions to human capital issues and managing the company’s corporate real estate activities. Brian is also Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). SHRM has a global membership of more than 260,000 professionals in 140 countries and is committed to advancing the Human Resources profession. Prior to FMCNA, Brian was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Gentiva Health Services, the country’s leader in home health care. Before Gentiva Health Services, he served as Senior Vice President Human Resources, Administration and Corporate Secretary for Linens N Things, and held senior HR roles at The Guardian Insurance Company and Allstate Insurance. Brian received his M.A. degree from Columbia University in Organizational Psychology and holds a M.S. degree in Human Resources Management from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Brian holds his Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.
