Ren Beanie PR was founded in April 2009 by Jen (Bernstein) Derevensky, a toy PR specialist who had spent the previous six years marketing and promoting children’s products for companies such as Play Along / JAKKS Pacific, Toy Quest and FAO Schwarz. Jen grew up in South Florida, studied advertising and business at the University of Florida, then spent three years living in Los Angeles while planning events, shopping for celebrities and finding her way to the wonderful world of toys. Jen is a proud member of Women In Toys and was chosen as the  Anne-Marie Grill became a partner at Ren Beanie in 2015, bringing over 15 years of experience leading global communications (internal and external), investor relations, corporate social responsibility, and consumer brand awareness strategy for children’s products and youth lifestyle brands. Anne-Marie is passionate about crafting innovative, full-scale public relations and social media marketing campaigns and have worked with powerhouse brands including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Nickelodeon and many more. Anne-Marie has served as a media spokesperson and liaison with key stakeholders and constituents, from the media and investors, to trade and charitable organizations. Lindsay Edwards joined Ren Beanie PR in 2011. Being raised by a preschool teacher, Lindsay spent years helping out in classrooms and working with students, and later as a teen she started her first “real” job at a school. Being directly involved with children helped give her the ability to recognize and understand the inner workings of children’s minds and how toys can help build on their imagination and encourage creativity. Children learn and grow through play, and Lindsay truly believes that a child’s most important job is to play.
