REMEMBER EVERYONE DEPLOYED INC., Pompano Beach

MISSION STATEMENT Remember Everyone Deployed (RED) mission is to show solidarity and support for our troops starting Friday, and continuing each Friday, until every military service person returns home to their families. To carry the message to national levels and serve the military community and their families by showing that they are never forgotten. Our mission started in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Marine Corps Base, Camp LeJeune “Home of the Expeditionary Forces in Readiness”. Money raised from sales and donations will provide grants to local and nonprofits organizations that aid those deployed and their families. Cecil Cooper, a student in the Department of Geo-sciences and Army veteran began the program on April 3rd, 2015. Hundreds of students, faculty and staff gathered together on campus to launch the awareness campaign but the ultimate mission is a lasting tradition that becomes engrained into the community. Wearing a specific colored shirt might seem like a trivial act, but the meaning behind it is significant. It translates to mean that as you prepared for your day, you recognized that others are playing an active role to allow you to go to work or class with relative peace of mind that you are safe. Our service members are on call 24 hours a day, seven days per week, 52 weeks per year. They willingly ensure our safety and freedom. Let’s wear red and make it a point to Remember Everyone Deployed! It is sole mission here at Remember Everyone Deployed, INC to unite all Americans who support this cause and have the entire United States wear RED on Fridays. Gloria De Paul started working as an Admission Representative for Florida National University in 2005 in the distance learning department. The University had signed a contract with the US Navy to provide A.A and B.A degrees. FNU strives for academic excellence being a SACS approved University. The director of military affairs requested Gloria to initiate enrollment process for their first military students, thus, her love for the military began. Gloria related well with her students establishing a wonderful connection with every single one. She was reliable, efficient, focused and a cooperative team member in the Military Department at FNU. Gloria has traveled to Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California for educational fairs for the U.S Marines and has participated in events at Homestead Air Reserve Base in Homestead, Florida and The American Legion Post 29 just to name a few. Gloria’s main goal in 2016 is to spread the word regarding R.E.D Fridays, a cause she has supported for the past 11 years by wearing RED on Fridays to Remember Everyone Deployed. She is currently living in Jacksonville, NC; home to Camp LeJeune the Marine Corps Installation East, Marine Corps Base. Gloria’s goal is to start her project of support in this military community and continue carrying the message to the national levels. Her idea is showing solidarity and support for our troops, beginning Friday and continuing on to each and every Friday until all our troops come home.
