Those skills include: Business Management We ensure each of our cast members understand the importance of key business management elements such as safety of our cast and guests, cash management, sales & marketing, risk management, property & equipment maintenance and personnel management. To provide our employees the needed knowledge and skills we have created and implemented several training programs, including: A week long in person interactive training program for theatre managers aimed at preparing them for career advancement within the company. Making an Impact Our company established the Regal Foundation in 2003 as a non-profit charitable organization to coordinate support for numerous national and local philanthropic efforts. Since its inception, the Regal Foundation has donated in excess of $47 million to local and national charitable organizations. The Regal Foundation supports the communities in which Regal operates by partnering with selected charities. Regal Entertainment Group and the Regal Foundation are extremely proud of the successful relationships we have built with our charitable partners. Regal Entertainment Group also hosts an annual fundraiser called "Stars of Hope" where guests are invited to donate to help the many charitable partners of the Regal Foundation which supports the communities where our guests and employees live Lending a helping hand has long been a part of the showmanship spirit at Regal Entertainment Group. Each summer moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard the Regal Summer Movie Express and enjoy a great selection of films for children During this 9-week festival, designated Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres offer selected G- or PG-rated movies for only a dollar, and proceeds benefit the Will Rogers Institute’s medical research and health education efforts. The program is intended to honor Regal Entertainment Group employees who generously donate their time and talents to eligible nonprofit organizations within their communities. When a Regal employee volunteers personal time for a qualifying charitable organization, Regal provides a monetary grant to the organization on behalf of the contributing employee and the Regal Foundation.
