Our company We are one of the largest independent contract manufacturers of beverages in North America. In our nearly four decades of existence, we have grown from a one-line canning operation to a highly diversified manufacturing company with millions of square feet of factory space in three states and whose hot-fill plastic and cans and aseptic carton capacities is one of the largest in the North American marketplace. Our unique production platform covers three manufacturing sites in Wharton (NJ), Fort Gibson (OK) and Lakeland (FL) providing our customers access to East Coast through Mid West metropolitan areas. Refresco US is a part of Refresco Group, an independent bottler of soft drinks and fruit juices for retailers and A-brands in Europe and the US. -- Production locations Refresco US was incorporated in September 2016 with the acquisition of Whitlock Packaging Corporation by Refresco Group. The acquisition of Whitlock Packaging marked Refresco’s first step into the North American beverage market. Predecessor of Whitlock Packaging, Central Oklahoma Foods was established. Central Oklahoma Foods acquired Haskell Foods. Haskell, a contract packaging company, operated a single 46-ounce steel can line packaging various fruit drinks for a single customer. The company moved production facilities to Fort Gibson, Oklahoma - providing a 200,000 sq ft production and 281,000 sq ft warehouse facility. Whitlock Packaging was incorporated and the company obtained full ownership of Central Oklahoma Foods. Whitlock Packaging moved to Fort Gibson Oklahoma and diversified into multiple packaging lines, customers, and flavors. Whitlock Packaging opened production facilities in Wharton, New Jersey with a 260,000 sq. ft production and 225,000 sq ft warehouse facility. Whitlock Packaging acquired Juice Bowl Products, Inc., located in Lakeland, Florida. The newly acquired company is a hot fill contract manufacturer as well as a juice processing and storage/filling facility specialized in contract manufacturing and juice processing. Whitlock is acquired by Refresco group, an independent bottler of soft drinks and fruit juices for retailers and A-brands with production in 9 European countries. Together we can offer our customers access to production platform in key markets, seamless service and core innovations across product categories. Each of our manufacturing sites has a role to play in the surrounding community and – as we continue to embed sustainability into our business – we seek opportunities to contribute to these communities with a clear and direct link to our business. Whitlock Packaging, predecessor of Refresco US, donated a 10,000 square foot residential property to a local charity, Women In Safe Homes (WISH). The Wishouse, provides shelter to abused women and children from five area counties. The Wish House operates as a Bed and Breakfast with proceeds going to the Women in Safe Housing.
