Reel Assets Fishing Team is a professional fishing team The REEL ASSETS Fishing Team is comprised of 5 First Responders led by licensed Captain Andy Richter, a veteran of the US Coast Guard. We are based out of Lake Worth, Florida. Our professional tournament team competes in the Southern Kingfish Association (SKA) professional fishing tour which is America’s largest offshore tournament trail consisting of over 40,000 members. Our home SKA district is 10 (south Florida). We also fish the championship in held in Louisiana or North Carolina. In addition to the SKA events, we fish the local tournaments in Palm Beach and Broward. We aim to fish 12-15 tournaments each year. With this comes all the preparation, practice, pre-fishing, Captain’s meetings, and awards banquets etc. The Reel Assets Fishing Team is comprised of very successful and consistently top rated tournament fishermen. Solid teamwork is a must! Each member has several specifics jobs/tasks that they must perform (at the perfection level) in order to achieve the common goal of catching/landing the biggest/most fish and successfully beating the competition. There is zero room for errors or mistakes because it is understood that team is only as strong as their weakest link. We routinely outperform our competitors who fish full-time every day for a living. Our team prides ourselves in professionalism. The team is basically run as a business in which perception is everything. This is not a booze cruise party boat.
