The Company currently holds a score of 110 ranked in the top 4% of 191,428 Florida licensed contractors of all types. Sylvester Reed, Sr. founded the company in 1929. A native of Valdosta Georgia, Sylvester adapted quickly to his adopted state and city. He believed success was not something that came by chance, but by a commitment to hard work and satisfying your customer, a belief he instilled in his son. In 1962, Rudolph Reed took the reins from his father and continued to build the business. He never forgot the principle of providing his customers with quality service. As a result, his customers never forgot him and Reed Roofing grew almost entirely by word of mouth. Since 2008, Todd S. Reed has owned and operated Reed Roofing. Todd’s relies on his 32 year background in Aerospace to help him design and spec roofs of every shape and material. He likes to say Reed Roofs are “engineered for success”, meaning that proper design and planning goes into every roof before any material goes down.
