He has been both a staff pharmacist and Director of Pharmacy in hospitals in Tampa, Florida and has also owned an independent pharmacy for almost 20 years. After selling his pharmacy, Bob worked for a large national pharmacy chain for the next 11 years. He then retired from active practice to devote his time to his consulting firm, Parrado Pharmacy Consultants, where he specializes in community pharmacy standard of care issues. Currently, he is also very engaged at the local, state, and national level--providing continuing education presentations on the subject of controlled substances. Warren James Pearson, JD, LHRM is a graduate of the College of William & Mary School of Law and the University of Florida Healthcare Risk Management Program and holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Florida State University. Warren is currently the CEO and Executive Director of the American Controlled Substance Foundation (ACSF), served as the president of the Florida Government Bar Association for the maximum term limit and served the Florida Bar Association concurrently as the Electronic Marketing Chairman of the Government Lawyer Section and Program Chairman of the State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice (SFGAP) Certification Review Program. As he has been employed as president, executive director and/or program chair for a number of medical and legal organizations; Warren has an immense familiarity with creating and running multi-day continuing education programs for pharmacists, lab technicians, physicians and attorneys. While serving ultimately as the Chief Prosecutor of Pain Management Clinics for the Florida Department of Health, Warren also provided training courses for the state's health investigators, was the unit's Florida State Employees' Charitable Campaign Coordinator and provided legal counsel to the Board of Medicine's Executive Director and staff. Warren also worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the General Civil and Economic Crimes units for Florida and as an administrative law judge handling employment and tax issues for what is now the Department of Economic Opportunity. Over the last five years, in addition to concurrently serving as Executive Director of ACSF, Warren has served as a stakeholder in the State Pain Policy Advocacy Network of the American Academy of Pain Management and as legal counsel, healthcare risk manager, quality assurance manager and/or as an expert lecturer for a large number of healthcare clinics, pharmacies, toxicology laboratories, manufacturers and wholesale distributers of pharmaceutical medications throughout the state, including in part: Parthenon Medical and Behavioral Center, Resolute Anesthesia & Pain Solutions, Smartlab, Inc, Gateway Community Services, Your Place Health Services and Alere Global Toxicology. At William Paterson University, from which he earned his B.A., he studied Philosophy, Psychology and the Humanities. After that, Alex went on to earn an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Columbia University. Since then, he has consulted for the Hartwick Humanities in Management Institute; become the protégée of the avant-garde architects, Arakawa and Gins; taught writing at numerous colleges and universities; run for political office; and has provided research and technical support for numerous clients in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. © 2014-2016 Red Flag Resolver Inc..All Rights Reserved.
