RECYCLE REGRETS, LLC, Altamonte Springs

On Jackie’s mother’s birthday, the family’s plans to celebrate came to a screeching halt upon receiving a phone call from Janice—Jackie’s beloved sister-aunt and her mother’s younger sister —with news that she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Since Janice would only refer to the diagnosis as, “The doctor said I have cancer…” the family saw that as a clear sign that Janice had the fortitude to beat the disease that unwelcomingly invaded her body. As she endured one intense round of chemotherapy and radiation treatment after another with grace and expectancy, Janice’s actions clearly indicated she was an advocate for her own physical wellbeing. But, Janice’s mental wellbeing was severely compromised by the disappointments and negative emotions from past painful experiences, all of which she was unable to release. The effort to support Janice through her emotional struggles shaped the vision for how Jackie believed she could best help others live abundantly. In 2012, Recycle Regrets® emerged from the ashes of Janice’s pain. Jacqueline "Jackie" Brito, founder and CEO of Recycle Regrets®, is a certified coach, behavioral specialist, and human resources consultant with more than 20 years of experience in helping others transform their thinking and lives. By incorporating her customized Balanced-Life PerspectiveSM tool—an introspective verbal assessment—her clients are equipped to develop strategies for success in a range of areas. Jackie is currently pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She holds a B.A. in Organizational Behavior and an M.A. in Human Resources Management from Rollins College, as well as professional certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP) and the HR Certification Institute (SPHR). She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF).  Jackie teaches graduate-level Human Resources Management, Recruitment, Selection and Retention, Employee Relations, and Beyond Diversity to Talent Engagement courses as an adjunct instructor at Rollins College. Her career at Rollins also included leading the MBA and doctoral recruitment strategies, marketing, and career development for the business school. Prior to joining Rollins, Jackie worked at Jackie has helped palliative patients, grieving spouses, college students, C-suite professionals, attorneys, and a host of others find the courage to make life-changing decisions that improved their overall wellbeing. Let her help you convert your regrets into reusable positive energy – one experience at a time. On Jackie’s mother’s birthday, the family’s plans to celebrate came to a screeching halt upon receiving a phone call from Janice—Jackie’s beloved sister-aunt and her mother’s younger sister —with news that she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
