Steve has been teaching Readiness Living Workshops since 2002.  He is a Disaster Response Chaplain with the Church Of God Chaplains Commission.  Functioning as Disaster Response Chaplain within Readiness Living Workshops which is a nondenominational ministry that provides individuals, pastors and the local church with the necessary guidelines to develop a creative and functional plan to execute in their community in the time of need.  People will turn to the church in a crisis because it is, by its very nature, a default shelter. To accomplish this mission he is experienced as a CERT Instructor (Community Emergency Response Teams), American Red Cross Instructor, Emergency Shelter Manager and independent ARC providers under Readiness Living Workshops.   Experienced as  National Association for Search and Rescue Instructor (NASAR), graduate of NASAR's Fundamentals of Search and Rescue, graduate of the Amicalola School of Wilderness Survival, Southeastern SOS and participants in the Governors Summit on Pandemic.  Have extensive training through FEMA and the Emergency Management Institute, is author of Mapping your Congregation and Ham radio technician.  Steve is a Certified NRA Firearms Instructor.  Remains constantly training for an all hazards response in a time of crisis. RLW is an outreach focusing on providing a direction for a Readiness Living lifestyle, both in the natural and the spiritual.
