Ms. Cloutier has developed award-winning sustainability programs using innovative best practices, and helps clients to achieve data-driven performance results. She has also supported the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ENERGY STAR program since its inception and helped EPA to develop the business case of energy efficiency for the commercial real estate, hospitality, multifamily, industrial and public sectors. She has built meaningful and impactful relationships with an extensive network of colleagues in the US and globally that she leverages to develop new solutions to common barriers for greater adoption of sustainability. Deb serves on several industry boards, is a nationally recognized speaker, and has authored publications highlighting the financial impacts of strategic energy management and sustainable business practices to enhance the asset value of property. In 2017, she earned the Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) designation in recognition of her expertise, experience, and ethics in providing advice and support to the commercial real estate community. Deb began her career at the American Institute of Architects supporting the Committee on the Environment, where she served as liaison to architects and the general public regarding environmentally preferred building materials and environmentally friendly design, and had the distinct pleasure of supporting the Greening of the White House under the Clinton Administration.
