Randall Wilsey began working in the family's nursery business in 1979. With a love of horticulture and design, Wilsey decided to return to the University of Florida in 1989 and earned a  degree in Landscape Architecture. In 1995, he started Southern Gates Greenery, a design-build landscaping company and plant nursery in Orange Park, Florida.  After 10 years of success as an independent landscape contractor, Wilsey's name and expert reputation was well known providing the opportunity to rename his company Randall Wilsey, Inc.
