Bill began his “railroading” career with Burlington Northern in 1973 working there until 1990. During his tenure with Burlington Northern Bill learned to operate all equipment and gained invaluable industry insight. In 1988 Bill founded R&R Contracting, Inc. believing he could provide a better product for a more reasonable price then other rail contracting companies. Bill is a highly experienced, innovative Chief Executive Officer and business owner, with domestic and international experience in operations and P&L oversight, who has demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams of professionals to new levels of success in the highly competitive rail industry, cutting-edge markets, and fast-paced environments. Bill has strong technical and business qualifications with an impressive track record of more than 30 years of hands-on experience in strategic planning, business unit development, project and product management, and rail engineering strategies. Bill has the proven ability to successfully analyze an organization's critical business requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for enhancing competitiveness, increasing revenues, and improving customer service offerings. After high school graduation Jeff went on to further his education in Bemidji, MN. After graduating from school in Bemidji, Jeff began his career with General Motors auto dealerships. Starting from the bottom and learning the process and moving into management positions, he continued his education with multiple roundtable sessions and business development classes. With 17 years in the Dealership environment and management, Jeff joined the R&R team and decided to transfer his business talents in a totally new direction. Jeff joined R&R Contracting in 2004, working his way up to the manager’s office, while learning all aspects of the company. Jeff took on the role of VP of Operations in 2008 successfully improving processes and helping R&R grow. In 2009, Jeff was promoted President of R&R Contracting and continues to provide leadership to the R&R Staff, helping launch R&R Contracting Inc. to the next Level. Josh began working for R&R Contracting in 2007, starting as a laborer. Josh began his forward progression with the company when he was promoted to Crew Foreman in 2010. As Foreman, Josh was in charge of a crew that performed both maintenance and new construction work. Josh used the knowledge and leadership skills he gained as Crew Foreman and was promoted to Maintenance Superintendent in 2013. As Maintenance Superintendent, Josh was in charge of scheduling crews and trucking, coordinating material and equipment deliveries, tracking crew production, quality control checks, and issuing change orders. In 2015, Josh was again promoted to Regional Manager of the Northern Region. With this promotion, Josh was responsible for maintaining the Northern Region overall revenue numbers while staying within an allotted budget, leading a team of 70 plus employees of all levels, while successfully building strong relations with our customers. Josh brings a very strong knowledge base of all functions of the company and a no-nonsense hard working mentality to all he does. He understands the needs of our customers and puts this as his top priority. Reed has risen through the company since 1993 when he was in charge of a shovel and a spike maul. Since then he has worked in many different capacities including operator, foreman, superintendent, manager, and now he heads up the business development and pre construction services for R&R. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Dakota. Based out of the Minneapolis office Reed has given lectures at the NRC conference on project teams, and maintains ties to organizations such as the North American Maintenance Railway club and AREMA. Reed is also the Qualifying Person for all of the state contractor's licenses the company holds, which, among others, includes Utah, New Mexico, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Arkansas. R&R Contracting’s roots are embedded deep within the Agricultural industry. Beginning in 1988, R&R began developing its strong ties not only to the industry’s customers but also agricultural organizations. Helping build out infrastructure when Class 1 Railroads increased the size of their unit trains, R&R knows the steps that need to be taken in order to streamline the process. Acquiring multiple companies throughout the United States, Bill Reimer has taken advantage of his entrepreneurial experiences to grow the company from a single crew to what it is today.
