My name is Joey Gaylon, a Feelance Graphic Designer based in Orlando, Florida. My focus is in custom logo design, rebranding, brand identity, and custom illustration. I work with small businesses, startups, and individual projects to help them make a killer first impression even if it means burning the midnight oil to do it. In the context of designing, each design is conceived through the process of researching, conceptualizing, drafting, and refining to achieve the final product. Each design project is the proverbial quest to produce a stunning and professional design that captures your company's identity. The cyclical occurrence of the sunrise (East) and the sunset (West) symbolizes the beginning and the end of each day. With that in mind, my incorporating the word "West" is a play on words which represents the ultimate goal or the end result of designing something that will leave a memorable impression in people's minds. Three-sixty represents the entire process of designing a piece from start to finish. Qwest360 Designs is where ideas and designs come full circle. I've always had the know-how and the passion for art so designing almost came natural to me. I've had the ability to draw, but the real challenge for me was taking my creativity and translating into a digital format. With my creative background and years of IT experience, I was able to leverage both and marry the two skillsets to form my freelance Graphic Design business. Starting your own freelance business does not come without its caveats. There were a lot of hours and late nights I had to invest into the business, but so far it has been rewarding. The reactions I get from clients when presenting the final design is worth burning the midnight oil. I hope you enjoy the website as much as I enjoyed designing it. After concluding the Design Brief, I will conduct additional research of your competitors and your target market. This helps me to get a better idea of the marketplace and trends to understand where I need to draw creative ideas from to design a logo that is unique and best represents your brand. The Design Brief is the interview process which I will conduct with you to gather as much information about your company, your competitors, your target market, and the style of logos that appeal to you. This provides me some general thoughts and logo ideas that would best represent your brand. The Design Brief sets the expectations and defines what needs to be done to help the design process flow smoothly. This stage of the project involves polishing up and making any required revisions to the selected design option to finalize the logo design. The logo will come to life when we begin experimenting with color palettes to see how the logo will fair in different color combinations. I will present a number of digital concept designs that we agreed upon for your feedback. I can also present the concept designs in digital mock-ups to provide you visual examples of how your logo could be implemented to help in your decision making. Examples; social media sites, website layout, signage, t-shirts, stickers, etc. Once you have selected which logo design to move forward with, I can begin the next step of refining the logo if necessary.
