Leading Provider in Captioning Services QuickCaption is one of the nation’s leading providers of remote and onsite CART and realtime captioning, as well as broadcast realtime closed captioning, transcription, and video captioning services. Currently serving as Commissioner on Disabilities for the City of Riverside and Board Member/Treasurer for the Model Deaf Community Committee in Riverside, Antha was awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year” for Southern California in November 2006 and has been mentioned in Entrepreneur Magazine. Antha attended Riverside Community College and California School of Court Reporting. She holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in English and business, and a Masters of Business Administration, from the City University of New York. Business Service Representative Linda Stufkosky worked in the print and promotional industry for over 20 years before joining QuickCaption. She managed national accounts and established substantial growth through building and fostering client relations. Although new to the world of CART and Captioning, Linda offers many years of experience in marketing, sales, and establishing, building, and fostering client relationships. She is well underway in her learning process of this wonderful industry, its clients, and QuickCaption’s providers. Born and raised in Southern California, Melissa attended South Coast College School of Court Reporting; she returned to her alma mater and helped create a degreed-offered CART Program at South Coast College in 2015. She began working in CART in 2010 and became a licensed Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) in 2011, the same year she joined the QuickCaption team. Melissa is currently the Director of Real-Time Captioning and CART Services. Her long work weeks include recruiting and training newly acquired Captionists and CART providers as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of QuickCaption’s team of more than 60 Real-Time Captionists and CART providers. Melissa continues to provide Captioning and CART Services in the field when needed, especially to mentor a newly hired Captionist or CART provider. Melissa works closing with QuickCaption’s Broadcast Captioning Manager, Cody Knacke, and its Director of Technology, Dan Bishop, as well as attends NCRA Conventions, Captioning and CART related conferences and conventions, software conventions and trainings to remain abreast of current trends, current technology, and current sources of potential Captioning and CART contractors. The collaboration of this team of three is also creative and intuitive with regards to creating their own means by which to better provide Captioning and CART services to more than 50 clients, all of which have proven successful! In addition to Melissa’s more than full-time position with QuickCaption, she currently teaches CART at South Coast College, educating many on the importance and benefits of working as a Captionist or CART Provider. Teaching is the proof of knowing! And teaching is a definitive commitment to the CART/Captioning field! Cody is a CART Provider/Broadcast Captioner who has worked for QuickCaption since September 2010. Armed with a CSR, RPR, CRC, CLR, and a smile, Cody is prepared to handle any CART or Captioning situation that comes his way. Cody works closely with QuickCaption’s Director of Real-Time Captioning and its Director of Technology, Dan Bishop, as well as attends NCRA Conventions, Captioning and Broadcast related conferences and conventions to remain abreast of current trends, current technology, and current sources of potential Broadcast Captioners. The collaboration of this team also provides QuickCaption with many original and spontaneous means to better provide Broadcast Captioning and CART services! Shelbi was an older puppy when she began her employment with QuickCaption in 2011. She was recruited by QuickCaption while gainfully UNemployed and searching for food and shelter on the side of the very busy 10 Freeway in Southern California. Although a rather brilliant young recruit, after a bath, the company orientation, and lots of TLC, she was sent away to further her education and be primed for her for a very special assignment within QuickCaption.
