I do not believe in using any techniques which may or may not provide results, I believe in the implementation of those reliable treatment models with have proven results. When deciding on the best treatment options for your child, adolescent, or young adult, my goal is to provide the most effective and scientifically based behavior therapy. Therapy can be concentrated in the environments in which it occurs – home, school, and/or in the community. An essential component of the interdisciplinary process is to collaborate with all aspects of your support system and integrate the skills and training. An initial consultation is the first step in the process. Following this, an evaluation is completed with the parents and child to complete an intake document. The highest priority issues which need to be addressed at the onset of therapy are targeted in the behavior plan. These targets are created to work on each behavioral goal. While I begin to work with the client individually, I simultaneously conduct parent training to continue the follow through with the targets.
