Kevin Foster’s story begins in Little Havana (Miami, FL) where he grew up with his father and grandmother. His father aspired to own a hotel in Costa Rica and started Kevins education at Jose Marti in Miami, an all Spanish private school, where he began to learn how to speak Spanish. At the age of 8 years old Kevins father sent him to Costa Rica for two years to perfect his Spanish and familiarize him with the country and its customs. After returning to Miami, Kevin continued to develop a relationship with family friends that have been farming shrimp for over 30 years now. Before that relationship could turn into a business relationship he spent 20 years in the hospitality/service industry. This is where Kevin grew a deep passion for quality food, drinks, and service. Being well cultured has always been a big part of Kevins life and his background is what inspired him to live a Pure Life and to start Pura Vida Seafood.
