The Managing Directors of ProtoLytic have extensive experience in healthcare services and technology development and saw the need for greater controls and streamlining the workflow. The founders have a proven track record of success in the healthcare industry, having created a healthcare services company driven by software technology that grew from a fledgling startup to return more than 1,400% to investors. Mr. Sweet was with TechHealth for fifteen years and served as Chief Executive Officer. Tom was responsible for growing the business from a raw startup to well over a $100 million enterprise, ending with a successful merger for one of the highest multiples paid in the industry. His GTE career spanned 26 years, starting as a technician and being promoted to some of the top positions in the company. Ms. Summers was with TechHealth for fifteen years and served as Chief Operations Officer where she implemented major improvements in the system and business processes in Operations resulting in significant quality improvements and efficiency gains. Bridgette reorganized operations to better meet customer needs by creating a customer centric organization. Dr. Leonard Kleinrock pioneered the mathematical theory of packet networks, the technology underpinning the Internet. For his enormous contribution to understanding the power of packet networks he was honored with the Charles Start Draper Award as one of the fathers of the Internet. He is a developer of ARPANET, the seedling that grew into today's global Internet, and his laboratory's UCLA host computer became the first ARPANET node in September 1969. A month later, he directed the first transmission to pass over the blossoming Internet. The ProtoLytic decision support system uses statistical and clinical modeling to create a unique Treatment Plan for the patient based on evidence-based guidelines and the interdependencies between related diagnosis and patient demographic data. Currently, case managers and adjusters review numerous requests for services using their clinical expertise to evaluate need and appropriateness.
