Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Tony attended Florida A & M University and received a free agent try out with the Minnesota Vikings. He remained with the Vikings for four years. Tony's vision in starting PROtential Sports allowed him to pursue his second passion, "Helping children learn life skill through sports." Nyree brings to PROtential Sports her professional experience in the sport of tennis. As a youth, she was ranked #1 in the State of North Carolina. Unfortunately, at the beginning of her professional career she sustained an injury which steered her to a much more rewarding career as Tennis PRO with PROtential Sports. Nyree enjoy inspiring children by encouraging them to visualize their dreams and pursue them. The after school program will immerse children between the ages of five and 12 in a comprehensive mentorship program focused on teaching life through sports. We create long lasting relationships with our local schools, PTA Boards, Community Development Districts, parents, children and local businesses. We take pride in our community, without their support we could not inspire our children in the way we do. I just wanted to take a few minutes to compliment you on your wonderful after-school program. As you know, we have been hosting PROtential Sports here at Club Tampa Palms for the last 5 years. Each year it seems to get better, more popular and satisfying for both the children and the staff at Club Tampa Palms. The children seem to love and respect the coaches. I have to admit, I have never seen a group of as many children who are so well behaved and quiet. The kids all seem to know when to use inside and outside voices. Just by looking at them it is obvious the whole group is enjoying the time they spend here. I am glad we are able to offer space to study, run, play, and swim. We are never asked to provide anything.
