About Us - Promise Habitat Services In 2005, Promise Habitat Services LLC (PHS) began as three men managing an overgrown, neglected, 1500-acre newly designated conservation property in central Florida, with intentions of restoring the property back to its pre-European condition. One of us had a wildlife management degree and the experience of being a fourth generation farmer; another a State of Florida prescribed fire certification and a mission to restore the property; and the third had a love for the outdoors and drive to improve the natural environment. Equipment and people were added as the company grew, and our neighbors began to ask us to do their habitat work for them. Over the years we have grown into a multifaceted company that can manage any type of natural habitat. Since conservation was our original mission, combined with quail and wildlife management, environmental sensitivity has a high priority with our company. Our clients include, federal, state, county, and municipal governments who regularly use our services for wetlands management, roller chopping, and our prescribed fire expertise. Private landowners, conservation groups, and utility companies are particularly interested in prescribed fire, right-of-way maintenance, and timber thinning. Private land owners often need forestry management plans to satisfy tax requirements too. We also provide quail management plans. In fact, all of the above can be rolled into the phrase, “habitat management”, which is what we do, with great pride. , Manager of Promise Ranch and Promise Habitat Services LLC (PHS), was born and raised in Moultrie, Georgia, on a family farm where his love for the outdoors began at an early age. He received an A.S. in Wildlife Biology from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in 2005. In that same year, Brannen was hired by Robert and Laini Panuska of Eustis to serve as Manager of their 1500 acre Promise Ranch located in Umatilla, Florida. It was there that the Panuska’s and Brannen began an intensive habitat restoration program with an emphasis on wildlife management. They soon realized there was a distinct need for professional land management services in Central Florida – especially with prescribed burning – and so created Promise Habitat Services LLC. PHS currently works with private landowners, as well as government agencies in Central Florida in land management and restoration. Promise Habitat Services At PHS we provide all types of land management services, ranging from monthly property maintenance to complete restoration projects.
