Progressive Constructors, Inc. was founded in July of 1984 as a general contracting firm by a small group of professional constructors with the concept that there were clients out there with old-fashioned ideas of getting what they pay for, when they need it, of a quality they could be proud of, by a progressive company that would keep them abreast of the latest construction technology. Today, we still believe in our original concept of customer care. We know that the only way to achieve this high standard is by 100% participation of all our employees; therefore, we have remained an employee-owned company. Great care is taken by each employee to ensure that Progressive remains financially sound. Currently, we maintain a bonding capacity up to $100 million. Our record of repeat clients is the best indicator we have showing that we are committed to the highest standards of craftsmanship. We are well known in the construction industry as being a "fast track" contractor, completing projects on time, within budget and, oftentimes, ahead of schedule. Value engineering often helps us obtain projects that have otherwise exceeded the owner's budget in the competitive bid process. A successful firm, such as Progressive Constructors, must have the ability to be low bidder, while at the same time be able to construct the project within the owner's budget. Progressive is committed to maintaining low overhead in order that we may continue to bid competitively. We are also committed to building and maintaining good relationships with our employees and our subcontractors. We take great care in the selection of both, knowing that these folks will be assimilated into our family circle. Progressive enjoys an extremely low turnover rate among our employees, and when we gather socially to thank our subcontractors and other friends for their continued support, we have the opportunity to visit with each other's family members, some of whom we have known since birth. As we add new employees, subcontractors, and other business partners, our circle of friends grows wider and stronger.
