Before joining Raymond James in 2016 as an independent advisor, Luis began his career as a banker at Citibank in 1990. Later he became a financial advisor for Citicorp Investment Services in 1994, and in 2006 he joined Wells Fargo Advisors; both in Key Biscayne, FL. Luis is firmly committed to long-term client relationships, and through financial planning helps his clients with retirement, education, estate and insurance strategies. Through all the many challenges clients endure, he has worked closely with them to assure their investment strategy and financial plans continue to be tailored to their specific needs. Working closely with Ariel D. Cruz for more than 18 years, Luis has been helping clients manage and preserve wealth, while mitigating risk across the ever‐changing financial landscape. He holds Series 7, 63, 65, and health and life with variable annuities licenses. Luis lives in Miami and is a proud parent of three children, Andres, Isabel and Nicholas. Away from the office, Luis enjoys traveling, exercising, the arts, and attending his children's events.
