Founded in Hollywood, Florida on March 5, 2007, Pricebase LLC started as a visionary venture based out of Broward County's business-friendly environment. Its foundation aimed at creating an exciting online platform that brought together an eclectic mix of products from small businesses, individuals, and artisans-products you might not find in your average retail stores. The heart of its mission was constructing Pricebase.com, set to debut in September 2008 as a free-to-use e-commerce hub. This innovative website sought to connect manufacturers and vendors with customers by offering diverse categories from jewelry and fashion accessories to electronics and garden supplies, all without charging any fees for product listing. Pricebase operated out of its office in Hollywood at 4720 N 36 CT, making contact simple with phone lines (954) 302-6811 and (954) 212-2964. Until the beginning of 2025, when it decided to voluntarily dissolve, Pricebase maintained an active role in digital commerce under the guidance of its manager, Ian Benoliel. Leading up to its closure, the company kept stakeholders updated with a final annual report filed on April 25, 2024, documenting a wrap-up of activities in 2024. Though it has now closed down and holds no FEI number due to its dissolution, Pricebase's concept remains an inspiration for innovation in digital marketplaces.
