Since 1961, Prestress Supply Incorporated (PSI) has made a significant impact as a leader in the prestressed concrete industry, thanks to Robert 'Rex' Hartup and his wife, Dorothy. Their company was born out of necessity, aiming to meet the growing need for equipment and supplies crucial to this emerging field. Right from the start, they emphasized genuine customer service, ensuring every call reached a real person instead of voicemail. Initially, Rex and Dorothy's partnership saw him traverse great distances by car or plane while she handled orders from home. By 1969, as the industry grew, PSI modernized its operations to include air travel for reaching more distant clients. This expansion mirrored the growth they were fostering within their company. Fast forward, their dedication to family and quality continued when Bruce Hartup returned in 1987, taking over the presidency by 1996. Cameron Hartup later joined in 2009, helping out with various facets of the operation from shipping to website maintenance. Today, PSI continues to thrive out of Lakeland, Florida. Under the leadership of President and CEO Bruce A. Hartup, with Douglas B. Martin as a director, they're committed to maintaining their renowned service ethos. Their last amendment was filed on July 10, 2023, while the annual report update came in early 2024. PSI's consistent delivery of dependable high-quality products ensures they remain trusted partners across numerous prestress facilities nationwide.
