Nate’s extensive experience in the healthcare industry has allowed him to develop relationships with the nations’ largest healthcare institutions, physician practices and various providers. Nate was a professional basketball player in the NBA and various international teams. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Finance in 1997. Since graduating Clemson University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology, I have culminated a variety of skill sets for both industrial and clinical laboratories. Within the industrial laboratory arena, my expertise was in chromatographic assays regarding quality control of raw materials and final products, which proved to be a great transition into my employment at the Greenwood Genetic Center (GGC). At GGC, my focus was metabolic assay development using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) methodologies. Through this experience, I discovered my passion for research in both the molecular and biochemical fields within the genetics arena, specifically cancer and autism. Jessie brings a multi-layered background to Precision Genetics that takes care of all of the behind-the-scenes and daily operations of the lab's office.
